How to Integrate Google Analytics With DigitalBull GO

Google Analytics can be viewed and accessed directly from the DigitalBull GO platform. It is present under the ‘Tools’ module and is the first of five tools.

Our team can integrate Google Analytics into DigitalBull GO. This will pull the data from your GA and display it on our platform. This decision is up to the discretion of the user.

Integrating Google Analytics With DigitalBull GO

There are many advantages of integrating Google Analytics with DigitalBull GO, but that is for another article. Here, our expert will tell you how to perform Google Analytics integration in just 10 simple steps.

If you haven’t connected GA with DigitalBull GO, you will see a message that says “No Data Available”. Follow this step-by-step process to resolve this issue.

Step 1 - Admin

The first step of integrating Google Analytics is to view the ‘Admin’ panel. After logging into the Google Analytics platform with the account you want to integrate, click on ‘Admin’ in the lower-left corner of the menu.

Step 2 - User Management

The ‘Admin’ window should open up. The User window is next to it.

There are three columns in the Admin window:

  • Account
  • Property
  • View

Click on ‘User Management’ in the Account column. It is under ‘Account Settings’ and above ‘All Filters’.

Step 3 - Account Permissions

After you click on ‘User Management’, you should see a window that says ‘Account Permissions’. This is where you can find the details for all the existing accounts that have access to your Analytics and what permissions each account has.

Click on the blue plus sign (+) in the upper right corner.

Step 4 - Add Users

Once you have clicked on the blue plus sign, another mini window stems from it. You have two options:

  • Add users
  • Add user groups

Click on the first option. This is the one on the top, ‘Add users’.

Step 5 - Enter Email Address

Now, we come to the fifth step. We’re halfway there. Upon clicking ‘Add users’, you will be taken to the ‘Add Permissions’ window.

Here, you can enter another email address and add a new user.

Step 6 - Add Permissions

Go to the ‘Enter email addresses’ section of the ‘Add Permissions’ window. Enter the email address exactly as shown in the image.

The address is analytics(at)myfirstanalytics-161412.iam.gserviceaccount.com

This is our email for connecting our DigitalBull GO platform with Google Analytics.

Be sure to add all permissions. You can do this by ticking the boxes next to the three types of permissions:

  • Edit
  • Collaborate
  • Read & Analyze

This will grant us permission to display your Analytics data within the tool.

Step 7 - Approve Access

Now, you need to approve access and add DigitalBull GO. To do this, press the rectangular blue button that says ‘Add’ in the top right.

We’re almost at the end, so don’t worry. Just a couple more steps and you’re done.

Step 8 - View Settings

You have now added DigitalBull GO as a user. Once this is complete, go back to the ‘Admin’ window from Step 2.

There should still be three columns:

  • Account
  • Property
  • View

This time, click on ‘View Settings’ in the View column. It is on the top above ‘User Management’.

Step 9 - View ID

Your View ID is key for the integration to occur. After you click on ‘View Settings’, it will expand and the View Settings window will appear.

The View ID is a 9-digit code of letters and numbers. ‘View ID’ is the first part of the Basic Settings section, above ‘View Name’. Copy your View ID.

Step 10 - Enter in DigitalBull GO

The tenth and final step involves entering your Google Analytics ID in our product.

Enter your login details into DigitalBull GO, click on the ‘Tools’ module and go to the ‘Google Analytics’ tool. Click on the yellow plus sign (+) in the lower right corner and a popup will appear.

Enter your 9-digit ViewID into the Google ViewID field and click ‘Save’ to save the ID.

Refresh the platform and the data from your GA should get pulled and appear.

Congratulations! You’ve managed to successfully integrate Google Analytics with DigitalBull GO!
